The Government of Mexico, through the General Coordination of Ports and Merchant Marine of the Secretariat of the Navy, expresses its warmest thanks to the Inter-American Committee on Ports and to the representatives of the Member States who, with their participation, contributed to the election of Mexico to chair the Technical Advisory Group on Logistics, Innovation and Competitiveness for the period 2023 - 2026.

Today, the Secretariat of the Navy leads the guidelines of maritime and port administration in the country and reaffirms its commitment to maintain competitive, secure, inclusive and sustainable ports.

From the General Coordination of Ports and Merchant Marine, we work to ensure the development of logistics and supply chain support centers that provide value-added services worldwide, with the active participation of the private sector and strengthening the ties of cooperation and coordination between the Chair of this Committee and the Member States and Associate Members of the Inter-American Committee on Ports.
